The new film ‘Becoming Nature Positive’, created by the Nature Positive Initiative with Open Planet Studios, sets out to inspire audiences, explain what ‘nature positive’ is and why it matters. Following the global première at Climate Hub Davos in January 2026, the film is now available for bespoke screenings. Through powerful storytelling and unique perspectives from leading voices, the film explores what it will take to halt and reverse nature loss and how different sectors can play a role in building a nature-positive future. This crucial story of nature loss is more relevant now than ever. The film brings this message in a personal way to businesses, organizations, local groups and governments to help educate and drive the transition to a nature-positive world. There are already a variety of screening events taking place – hosted by a range of organizations and advocates for nature. In the coming months, the Nature Positive Initiative is involved with several key events for different audiences. Read on to find out where and how you can attend – and be inspired to host your own screening.
Tuesday 5 May 2026, 10am-1pm | Zurich, Switzerland
In Zurich, the film will be showcased during the inaugural Climate Week programme, in collaboration with EY. The screening opens the session with an inspiring backdrop to frame nature conversations and discussions on the transformative changes needed as we head towards a net zero and nature positive future. The event will connect climate and nature conversations, highlighting the importance of integrated action to generate greater business resilience.

Wednesday 6 May 2026, 6-7.30pm | Old Theatre, Old Building, LSE, Houghton Street, London, UK
Kicking off the first in the series of special screenings in the UK, this event is hosted by the LSE Global School of Sustainability. The event brings together students, academics, alumni, practitioners and the public to explore the role of finance, policy and education in driving nature-positive outcomes.
Speakers include Sir Andrew Steer, Professor in Practice in the Global School of Sustainability at LSE, Nicola Ranger, Executive Director of Earth Capital Nexus and Professor in Practice of Natural Capital, Risk and Finance in the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Marco Lambertini, Convener of the Nature Positive Initiative.

Monday 11 May 2026, 6-7.30pm | The Babbage Lecture Theatre, Cambridge, UK
The film will also be featured ahead of the Nature Action Dialogues in Cambridge. The large theatre space invites a wide range of attendees to the event, where participants will hear reactions from a short panel discussion, and have the opportunity for deeper discussion among leaders working at the intersection of science, policy and business.
Speakers include Marco Lambertini, Convener at the Nature Positive Initiative, Emily McKenzie, Technical Director at the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures and Dorothy Maseke, Head of the African Natural Capital Alliance Secretariat.

The film has been shown at several major global gatherings including the première in Davos during the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting.
The Climate Hub Davos hosted a packed event with engaging discussion and comments from the audiences.
