Nature Positive at the UN CBD COP

An ambitious Global Biodiversity Framework was adopted at COP15. The CBD COP is a vital opportunity to ensure nature-positive outcomes are secured.

The Nature Positive Initiative is proactive in working with the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity Secretariat to ensure all countries who adopted the Biodiversity Plan maintain the ambition they pledged – to halt and reverse nature loss by 2030.

In previous years, Nature Positive was backed by many international conservation and environmental organisations to ensure that the world kept sight of what’s needed to tackle the nature crisis. Now, as countries pivot to deliver on their commitments made in the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, there remains a role for the Nature Positive Initiative and all members to keep up the pressure on ambitious implementation of the plan and support a more sustainable future.
