Unlocking Financing for Africa’s Keystone Protected Areas

This convening is designed to catalyze interest and investment in the Keystone Protected Areas Finance Initiative, which aims to develop and scale innovative nature-finance mechanisms to secure the long-term financial resilience of priority Keystone Protected Areas (KPAs) across Africa, mobilise $100 million in Nature Finance revenue for KPAs in the short term, demonstrate early successes in revenue diversification and become a springboard to build off across the KPA portfolio. Through case studies and project results, the event will showcase the Keystone Partnership and demonstrate how blended and stacked funding approaches can unlock sustainable conservation financing at a landscape scale.
