How nature-dependent industries can quantify resilience, build credible business cases and translate nature-related evidence into investment and capital-allocation decisions.
Nature-related impacts and dependencies increasingly affect business resilience, supply security and long-term value, but the case for investment can be difficult to quantify. This session will explore how nature-dependent industries translate environmental evidence into financial information, investment choices and credible business cases for resilience. A keynote and senior panel will examine valuation, risk quantification, capital allocation and practical decision-making, drawing on sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and mining and metals. Moderated by ERM, the session will invite an interactive audience discussion on what makes nature-related analysis sufficiently decision-useful to mobilise investment.
