Policies for a Sustainable Bioeconomy in the Pan-Amazon: Launch of the Bioeconomy Radar and Pathways for Action
This session will formally launch the Pan-Amazon Bioeconomy Radar—a first-of-its-kind platform mapping over 180 public policies related to bioeconomy across Pan-Amazon countries—and present key insights to the global community. Building on this evidence base, the event will introduce a Policy Brief featuring prioritized, actionable recommendations to strengthen, align, and scale enabling policy frameworks across the region. Together, these outputs provide concrete, evidence-based tools to accelerate a sustainable, inclusive, and locally led bioeconomy in the Pan-Amazon. The session will convene governments, international organizations, civil society, and private sector leaders to explore how enabling public policies can unlock pathways for biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
