Embedding nature into corporate action: New guidance published

Organizers: Nature Positive Initiative (NPI), Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), Science Based Targets Network (SBTN)

The TNFD, SBTN and Nature Positive Initiative will have released on 13 October synchronised updates to their guidance, helping organisations embed nature into their corporate nature-related assessment, reporting and target-setting activities.

These updates comprise:

  • ⁠TNFD’s LEAP 2.0: Helps organisations identify and assess their nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities.
  • ⁠SBTN’s Science-Based Targets for Nature 2.0: Guides companies in assessing impacts, prioritising action, setting and implementing science-based targets.
  • ⁠State of Nature Indicators and Metrics Framework led by the Nature Positive Initiative: Provides a common set of metrics for assessing the state of nature.
