Nature Positive Starts with Protecting the Last Homes of Threatened Species

Location: Small Room

Organizers: RESOLVE, Quick Response Fund for Nature

Protecting just 1.2% of Earth's land can prevent most species extinctions. Explore how rapid conservation action in Conservation Imperatives sites can help companies advance Nature Positive commitments

Halting and reversing biodiversity loss requires protecting the last homes for threatened species. RESOLVE’s Conservation Imperatives research identified the 1.2% of global land where conservation action can prevent most species extinctions and help achieve Nature Positive outcomes. For over a decade, the Quick Response Fund for Nature has translated these priorities into action through rapid, targeted funding for local partners safeguarding critical habitats. This session will highlight successful conservation efforts and explore how corporate and philanthropic partnerships can accelerate protection of Conservation Imperatives sites, providing a pathway to begin delivering on Nature Positive commitments through strategic conservation investments.
