From Hotspots to Action: Using Data to Deliver Nature-Positive Outcomes

Data is reshaping how nature risk is understood, but insights only matter if it drives action. This workshop brings together companies, governments, Indigenous Peoples, investors and civil society to explore how emerging tools, datasets and risk frameworks can identify biodiversity and nature-risk hotspots, prioritise action, engage supply chains and improve transparency. Opening with insights from ICMM data reports and Nature Value Chain tools, a rotating panel will ask what data decision-makers actually need, where the biggest gaps lie and what evidence builds confidence that a company is delivering meaningful action toward nature-positive outcomes aligned with credible responsible mining standards and the Global Biodiversity Framework.
