Connecting business action, reporting and finance across the Rio Conventions to strengthen policy coherence and accelerate implementation on climate, biodiversity and land.
Climate change, biodiversity loss and land degradation are deeply interconnected, yet policy and business responses often remain fragmented. This session will explore how greater alignment across the Rio Conventions can support more coherent government and business action. Drawing on practical initiatives from GRI, CEBDS, UNCCD, as well as company experiences, it will examine how corporate reporting, private sector action and finance can contribute across climate, biodiversity and land agendas, and how greater policy coherence can help accelerate implementation.
