Charting the path toward a fully financed, credible and high-integrity TFFF that delivers lasting finance for tropical forests and the people who steward them.
The Tropical Forests Forever Facility (TFFF) is emerging as one of the world’s most ambitious mechanisms for financing standing tropical forests, yet a significant capitalization gap remains between commitments and the resources needed for full implementation. This high-level dialogue will bring together governments, investors, multilateral institutions, Indigenous Peoples, and conservation organizations to examine how that gap can be closed while building a credible, high-integrity facility. The session will identify practical actions on capitalization, governance, transparency, benefit sharing, and implementation, and establish a shared “Proof by COP31” framework for demonstrating tangible progress toward delivering predictable, long-term finance for forests and the people who steward them.
