This session provides an overview of the Nature Positive Landscapes Initiative’s progress, featuring key announcements on new science initiatives and the launch of our Community of Practice. The panel that follows turns to real-world application, spotlighting the Initiative’s work with the mining sector. Experts from private companies and international organizations engaged with industry will discuss how businesses are addressing nature risk and investing in programs that deliver nature positive outcomes across multiple countries. Panelists will also showcase industry initiatives underway to accelerate adoption of nature positive approaches at landscape scales — connecting on-the-ground activities and investments to broader systems change
