Applying Consensus State of Nature Metrics in Oceans

The session will present the consensus State of Nature Indicators and Metrics as applied in the marine environment, moving from technical alignment to what the final metrics mean for practical implementation. It will explore how the metrics can be embedded into existing frameworks, standards and business decision-making, alongside insights from early testing and the World Economic Forum's new Marine Primer for State of Nature Metrics designed to support uptake.
