Location: Small Room
Organizers: Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD), CARITAS Bangladesh, BOKU University
In the context of the COP17 Global Review, this informal breakfast discussion will explore how agroecology can help deliver Target 10 while strengthening biodiversity, food security and resilience.
CAFOD, Caritas Bangladesh and BOKU University will briefly share new evidence from coastal Bangladesh showing that agroecological approaches almost halved cyclone-related damage among participating farmers.
Following a few short opening interventions, the session will become an informal discussion and networking space on agroecology, Target 10 implementation, resilience, and what is needed to move from ambition to action.
