Join us in São Paulo and Belém, Brazil, November 2025, to learn more and engage in key conversations about how the transition to a nature-positive economy supports climate action for a people positive future.
At COP30, the Nature Positive Initiative will bring the conversation about nature and climate action to the centre of global climate negotiations. As the world gathers to accelerate the implementation of the Paris Agreement, we will highlight how achieving a nature-positive and net zero world by 2030 is essential to tackling the climate crisis and securing a sustainable future for all.

The Nature Positive Initiative will also have an active presence throughout COP30, including participation in key side events and dialogues within the Blue Zone and in the city of Belém.
We’ll be hosting interactive sessions and fireside chats in the Standards Pavilion, where partners and experts will discuss how credible nature-positive action can be embedded across sectors, standards, and global frameworks to drive real progress on the ground.
Metrics Piloting Updates: Hear from some of the piloting companies who have applied the State of Nature Metrics at various piloting sites this year and what lessons can be drawn to scale their impact from 2026+.
Consultation on Communicating and Demonstrating Nature Positive Outcomes: Engage in the discussion around what credible and practical guidance should be provided to organisations who want to make a nature-positive statement or claim to back up their nature-positive outcomes.

Together, we can ensure that nature remains at the heart of climate action – and that COP30 delivers for a truly nature-positive, net-zero, and equitable future.
In the lead-up to and during COP30, the Nature Positive Initiative is partnering with We Don’t Have Time as a media partner for a special series of ‘Nature Positive Dialogues’ – a collection of interviews and discussions with leading experts, policymakers, and practitioners attending the UNFCCC COP, and a chance for those further afield to stay up to date on the latest on the ground in climate and nature action online.
These conversations will explore the critical connections between nature and climate, showcase solutions already making an impact, and spotlight the voices driving systemic change for a nature positive transition.
