London Climate Action Week and Nature Positive

The largest independent climate event in Europe takes place in central London, around June each year. The Nature Positive Initiative supports the events to align climate and nature agendas.

The Nature Positive Initiative at London Climate Action Week

London Climate Action Week has become a leading platform for businesses, governments, financial institutions and civil society to explore solutions that address both the climate crisis and biodiversity loss together.

The Nature Positive Initiative brings nature to the heart of climate action conversations. Nature and climate are increasingly linked on the global agenda, and to help embed this relationship firmly in the minds and hearts of those attending  London Climate Action Week (LCAW), the Nature Positive Initiative hosts or attends various events and expert discussions,  and engages with a range of new and existing partners. During the week, the team is pleased to engage with anyone interested in how we can transition to a nature-positive, net-zero emissions world.

The Nature Positive Initiative is participating in LCAW to help advance a shared understanding of what “nature positive” means and how organizations can take credible action for nature. The Initiative will contribute to some of the key conversations on nature and climate through the week – including nature-related finance, corporate accountability, biodiversity metrics and the transition to a nature-positive economy.

For those looking for nature events at London Climate Action Week, this page brings together the Nature Positive Initiative’s activities, partnerships and opportunities to engage with leaders working at the intersection of climate, nature and sustainable development.
